...Jogjakarta Plaza...

We stayed at Jogjakarta Plaza November last year...

One things that amazed me was the huge lobby they got, with a live performance of Javanese music *yipppiiieee...they treated my ears well*
The hotel got sooo many comfortable sofa in the lobby. It's comes in handy when we're willing to enjoy the live performance, meet our guess out side the room, having cup of tea or coffee, or just read the newspaper...

The hotel itself located at Jl. Affandi - Gejayan, it's about 15 minutes from Adisucipto airport.
Just make a call to +62-274-584222, their friendly and helpfull staffs will answer your needs *dadah dadah Mas Andi.....*
We visited the Jogjakarta Plaza at peak season. All our preffered hotels in Jogja were fully booked.
Lucky me... When we rang a bell, there were 2 'pool view' room still available, while the other 155 rooms all occupied.
They have policy at those peak season time. The guess had to transfered some balance to make the room secured.
We did, and the rooms secured for us... *yipiiiieee just love online methods*

Now, let me rate them :

The rooms cleaness : 8/10
The rooms facilities : 7/10 (they excluded the internet rate from the room rate)
Bathroom cleaness : 8/10
The restourant : 8/10 *god...peak season...sooo many people at the same area*
The pool : 7/10
The hospitality : 9/10 *wow lucky me*
The other service : 8/10

They don't have 'sooooo luxurious' building indeed... But hey! They have helpfull staffs..! *this is all that remained in our heart* *huh...melo blogger hihihihi*
*helo helooo...duty manager nya Jogjakarta Plaza...keep your good and very qualified staffs with you yaaaa*

They have just the same other facilities like the other star hotel.. Yup, the have fitness center and spa service too *I wonder why do I always mention spa service in hotel? *

And for your lovely little ones...they have dolanan kid's club... The place was so neat, so clean, so many toys provided, and once again... helpfull staff to guard the children... *clap clap*

heheheh...
That's all folkes...
I'll up date the hotel when I get chance to visit them again *kapan*

...Sheraton Jogja...

Now it's Jogja's hotels review time...

I'll review Sheraton Mustika Jogja first.
This 5 star resort & spa located at Jl. Laksda Adi Sucipto km. 8,7 Jogja, just eastern part of Jogja.

They have Garden and Volcano view rooms, lagoon access rooms (which are private and secluded with balconies that access directly into your own swimmable lagoon), and club rooms with great views overlooking to the volcano *dadah dadah ke mbah Marijan...*
The rooms are clean and cozy. Completed with every room facilities you can ever find. They have iron/ironing board in every room too..

I like their swimming pool the most. They have :
  • Children's Pool
  • Indoor Heated Pool
  • Outdoor Pool
The children's pool & outdoor pool are sooooo sooooo nice. They make the pool like a natural lagoon with all those big tree around..
Just take a look at the picture above... It's the outdoor pool located near the children's pool and tennis court. Can you feel the freshness? *me likey*

The restourant provide delicious meals too... Just have yourself well treated here.

Besides of those coolness, they have friendly services too *or is it because of those 5 star label? heheheh*

I just can't wait to stay at Sheraton again...

...Sahid Raya Solo...

Parti : 'ya banyaaakkk Tooo, tapi ada tulisan tentang hotel-hotel yang pernah

anehnya....dia nulis hotel di Solo juga...'
Parto : 'apa anehnya siiiyy? mbok yao gak usah bikin thread gosip...!'
Parti : 'yooo aneh...lha wong dia itu aseli Solo...orang tua di Solo...lha ngapain
nginep hotel?'
Parto : 'oalahhh...dasar biang gosip!'
'apa kamu ga ngerti kalo mba N itu orang kooayaaa...karena belum beli
rumah sendiri di Solo, jadi yaaa setiap ke Solo nginep di hotel dulu...

hahahahahahah....hohohohoho.... *day dreaming, kaya koq belum beli rumah di kota lain qiqiqiqi*
*sambil komat kamit....amiiiinnnnn...amiiinnn....*

Lanjut....
Sahid Raya hotel letaknya ga jauh dari Novotel & Ibis... Kira-kira selisih 400-an meter ke arah utara. Jadi hotel ini sebelas dua belas jaraknya ke Stasiun KA Balapan... *kalo naek becak ga sampai 10 menit dari Balapan*
Alamatnya di Jl. Gajahmada 82 Solo. Telp? *lupaaa....udah nyoba browsing ga nemu*
Sampai sekarang juga belum nemu website nya *apa aku yg oneng ya?*

Secara umum, hotel ini bisa dibilang hampir sama dengan hotel bintang 3 yang lain. Sayangnya ga banyak yang nyantol di otak ini, jadi reviewnya minim banget.
Kamarnya bersih, tapi jaman nginep disitu banyak ornamen ukir-ukiran gitu, jadi kesannya berat.. *ini personal opinion loh ya*
Fasilitas di kamar such as :
  • Coffee Tea Maker
  • Hair Dryer
  • Mini Bar
  • Television
ga ada komplenan... Just ok sajah...

Fasilitas hotel yang lain kayak bar pub, business center, coffee shop, laundry service, meeting facilities, restaurant, deposit box...just ok...

Hospitality? Ok juga...

Kelebihan Sahid Raya ya itu tadi, letaknya ada di pusat kota...heheheheh...
Kelebihan lain? *tar deh kalo nginep disana lagi aku cariin hihihihi*

We stayed for about 3 days here.
Things that impressed us most are the pool and the restourant.
They have heated semi olympic swimming pool, baby pool, and medium pool *cool huh..*
These are the most vary of pools we ever find in a hotel.
If you just too tired to swim, you can just relax and have your back layed on those cozy pool bench, and enjoy the fresh air with your favorite beer from the pool bar *it's alredy sounds like we're in heaven hahahah.. Come on...wake up! Heaven don't provide beer, missy!*
So, if you have plan of visiting Solo and stay in the Sunan, please grab your swimming suit and enjoy!

Now, I'll tell you about the resto. It provides various menus from Indonesian Food, Western Food & Chinese.. I found so many tasty food here (in a large amount of choises too).
We travel a lot, we stay in different kind of hotels , but the hotels that provided variety of menu are the Sunan hotel in Solo and Ciputra hotel in Jakarta. Yeeeaaahhhh...two thumbs up!

Well,
If you willing to treat someone here, you can take them to rice crispy business & famili dining, airu sushi japanese resto, royal expresso coffee & tea lounge, or just try the embassy wine lounge & shop.

What about the room?
It's cozy enough, we have no complain about the room...
We didn't have complain on the service too.

The lobby is quite big, so that you can use it if you prefered to have your guess out side the room.

The only thing that ever bothered us was when the Sunan visited by some rally *not willing to mentioned here*...
The guesses had their laundry at the windows... *holaaaa... I can see your under wear up there*

The rest is just like another star hotel too...
They have their fitness center and spa gallery, salon and hair beauty treatment (I seldom find salon inside a hotel)...

Oh, hampir lupaaa...
They have musro...!! Music room with band playing various music entertaiment every night.

...Novotel Solo...

Mumpung lagi review hotel-hotel di Solo based on our experienced..., sekarang giliran Novotel Solo...

Novotel located at Jl. Slamet Riyadi 272 Solo.. It's 4 star with 141 rooms available.
You can do the reservation through email : reservation@novotelsolo.com or just dial +62 271 724555, otherwise you are welcome to fax your reservation to +62 271 724666.

It's too bad that we don't have our camera with us during our stayed. But as far as I remembered we stayed at Novotel Solo twice.
It's strategic area makes this hotel become one of the popular hotel in Solo. It is reachable with any kind of transportation (bus, car, hotel shuttle, motorcycle, or even becak).

It's not a kind of 'natural view' hotel like Lor In, but let me share our experienced.

Let's start with the building :
You can see a nice and desent building, a mixed of modern and etnic touch in this hotel. The room is in avarage size (I can't say too big neither too small). It's clean.
The bathroom is clean too *just love taking a long and relaxing bath in a clean bathroom - haven't I told you that I'm a neat freek? hehehehe*
The mini bar is fine for me...

The restaurant :
They called it Andrawina Restourant.
It served a tasty traditional food like nasi liwet, gado-gado (javanese salad), and so on.
Besides of those traditional items, you will find western and chinese cuisine. They used to have pool view rastourant, but since the pool moved to the south side of the hotel, it feels just a dinning area for me...

The bar :
Saraswati, it's open from 18.00 to 01.00 wib

The kid's club :
hey...they have Dolphin Kids Club... So, there will be no boring time for children.

Swimming pool :
Outdoor unheated pool...
But for telling you the truth, I like their old pool, the one that located near the restaurant.
They have their new pool just at the south side at the hotel right now. *just too hot for me...me love trees*

Services :
I found friendly atmosphere here... Two thumbs up!

And the rest is, just like the other 'star' hotel... They have sauna, spa, fitness centre and more.

Well...
Writting about hotels in Solo makes me fly far far away...
*pengen balik lagi qiqiqiqi*

o ye, satu lagi...
Sekarang di sisi utara ada hotel Ibis (sayang belum sempet nginep disitu jadi ga bisa bikin review)... Publish rate nya hampir sama kayak Novotel.
Kalau mau ambil yang agak murce, di sebelah Ibis ada juga Grand Orchids hotel.. Tapi di sindang ga ada pool dan temen-temennya...
IMHO, cukup lah kalo cuman buat bobo'an... *iiissshhh..bencong tas ngomong*

Ini iseng-isengan bikin review hotel-hotel yg pernah kami tongkrongin...
Mulai dari Solo yaa... *love Solo very much*

Hotel ini letaknya bisa dibilang lebih deket ke bandara dari pada ke kota. Tapi untuk yang bawa kendaraan sendiri, kayaknya lokasi yg agak diluaran ini ga bakal jadi masalah *lagian Solo is just a small town kan...jd kemana-mana deket*
We like it so much in here, karena banyak banget tanaman...mulai dari pohon besar, sedeng sampe perdu-perduan... Jadi kesannya adem...ijo...
Selain itu, banyak pula kolam-kolam kecil, kolam renang (children, adult, jacuzi, side pool bar), sampai sungai kecil yg membelah hotel... So nature...

Kamarnya bersih, and if compared to the price...it's very very very very cheap...
Terakhir kesana, ambil yg executive cuman 500k *promo kali ya...lupa nanya*
Kamarnya ada yg bungalow either yg room biasa (tapi yg room ini juga sisi belakangnya menghadap ke taman, ada kolam airnya yg gemericik).
AC nya 8/10, TV 7/10 *tapi sayang ga ada play house disney kesukaan Mas Lintang*, kamar mandi 8/10, bed 8/10, mini bar nya 7/10 lah.... *hehehe ini personal opinion loh ya, hukumnya relatif*

Restorannya 8/10, walaupun pilihan makanannya ga terlalu banyak, tapi ada makanan-makanan tradisional yg disajikan, such as pecel ndeso, jamu, sego liwet, keleman juga ada...
Rasa makanannya? nice...
Selain resto, di Lor In juga ada Puri Parisuko Bar, klo suka dengerin live music, nongkrong sambil ngobrol heheheh...

Terusin yak...
Room service? 8/10...
Restorant service? 8/10...
Front office staff? 7 aja ya...hihihihi
Pool service? 7 deh...handuknya ga ada kikikikiki...
